A Programme Director has the following responsibilities: * Manage large programs (>50 FTE) or groups of projects * Manage all stages of Client lifecycle * Demonstrate deep understanding of SAP products and services * Leverage knowledge to develop Clients from a strategic perspective * Provide thought leadership through many years of experience * Recognised as a leader in Programme Management at senior management level * Focus on strategic solution definition thereby ensuring new business development The primary responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include: * Ensure that the business targets and objectives of the hosting organisation are met. * Work with the Virtual Account Team (VAT) to coordinate pre-sales activities. * Qualify hosting sales prospects. * Facilitate contract negotiations with hosting sales prospects. * Some factors besides the enterprise size that help to define the role of the GSM/GAM include: * Enterprise type and organisation, as well as its objectives and strategy. * Customer expectations. * Personal assessment, for example: support manager experience, knowledge and potentials. * Type and scope of working relationship with integration partners (for specific implementation). The task and role of the GSM/GAM within the enterprise must be defined by the end of the Global Program Set-up phase. Key Tasks : * Develop a long-term relationship with the customer. * Function as an ambassador for the enterprise. * Establish and coordinate a global support structure. * Present SAP's consulting services. * Assist the customer to establish a support organisation. * Create connections and contacts between SAP and the enterprise, and vice versa. * Support the Customer Competence Centre. * Act as the main contact person for the customer, partners and SAP. PROMOTE THE SAP SOLUTION WITHIN THE ENTERPRISE Description The Global Rollout Manager is responsible for the execution of the global rollout plan. At the outset of each rollout project, the team member(s) should be available on site. The Global Rollout Expert must proactively anticipate project deviations and be responsible for immediate corrective action. The Global Rollout Manager escalates strategic issues to the Program/Project Manager for resolution.
